The development of potential business cases for the implementation and exploitation of charging infrastructure in rural areas is the aim of AutomotiveNL as project-partner of ENEVATE 2.0 in the province of Noord-Brabant.
By developing healthy business cases, the project is aiming on minimising the TCO (total costs of ownership) of electric mobility applications and maximising the profit of the investments. In rural areas the combination of electric mobility with other business opportunities seems to be a solution to achieve new concepts for electric driving.
The first step was to investigate and analyse the existing ideas: an e-car sharing concept, a tourist application and other business cases.
The next step is to analyse the business case on feasibility (technology, finances and timing) and setup an implementation plan for (healthy) business cases.
